it is so frusterating why cant people just be on time...
i think i'm leaning towards putting the earlier time so FH isn't sad his side of the church is empty even though it will anger my side that they are there 30 mins earlier than they needed to be...
plus, its a sunday and theres a mass ending at 1 and my ceremony really starts at 2

I'm going to put the exact time. The late comers for both of us are all involved with the wedding already and I'll just make them start getting ready earlier!

I was thinking of putting 15 minutes early, but 2:45 looks very conspicuous, and some may figure out that i'm trying to be sly. I'm considering this because our relatives tend to be late to everything, and it's hard to find parking close to the church, so I just want to give people a chance to get there without missing too much. I really like the beginning of the ceremony with the bridal party entrance...i wouldn't want friends and family to miss it...

we put 30 min before. my hall has strawberries and champagne for people when they arrive, and our ceremony is starting exactly at 11:30am.
People run late, get lost, etc. We also dont want 100 people arriving at 11:28, trying to get their cars to the valet, walking to the room, getting seated, etc.
Friends of ours told us a horror story where they were 'late' to a wedding by about 5 minutes because they got lost, and they walked down the side aisle of the curch as the bridal party was walking down the center aise!
Now, the attendants should have made them wait, but that is besides the point.

I put the exact time on my invites, and only 2 people were late, BUT when they came in, we were doing our first prayer and because it was an old church the doors were SOO loud that the entire church looked back LMAO, including myself haha ... So if you think people will be late and you want to start on time, I would put the start time early.

i am getting married despite who is early or late i am not waiting, i waited long enough to marry him , lol
