We can afford to do the 'everyone gets a guest' thing, but I'm really trying to avoid having people at the wedding who don't know FI or me. I want it to be as intimate a wedding as I can get with 150 people Nonetheless, we'll probably invite people who are in a relationship (since it's more likely that we've met the person), but then I think about the fact that we're sending the invites out 2 or more months before the wedding and someone could start dating someone during that time. The whole thing is very confusing.

Re: POLL: What's your guest policy?
If I have a name to write on the envelope, they're invited. But there are no 'John Doe & Guest' invitations going out.

Re: POLL: What's your guest policy?
I invited evryone with a guest. There are only a couple of people not in a relationship anyway. I do a lot of stuff by myself but think i would feel kind of lonely going to a wedding by myself if I didn't know a lot of people there.

Re: POLL: What's your guest policy?
we allowed everyone in relationships to bring a guest....I didn't want my little cousins bringing their flavor of the month.

Re: POLL: What's your guest policy?
We are inviting everyone with a guest except for my young cousins. None of them are in serious relationships and I am not concerned that they will know anybody at the wedding because their parents and other cousins will be there!

Re: POLL: What's your guest policy?
I invited all my friends with guests so that they would not ***** about not being invited with a guest. Much easier to cease the drama before it starts

Re: POLL: What's your guest policy?
We took it on a case by case basis. Obviously, anyone who is in a relationship was invited with a guest; anyone who has been in a relationship and we for our guests who are not in a relationship, we talked to them.

Absolutely every adult gets invited with a guest regardless of their relationship status.

Re: POLL: What's your guest policy?
If I were 10 years younger, I wouldn't have invited everyone with a guest. But my single friends are all into their 30's now so I felt like I should let them have a guest. Turns out that only people in serious relationships ended up bringing someone anyway.

Re: POLL: What's your guest policy?
My guest policy seems to depend on the day. Some got guest, some didn't. I tried to do anyone who is in a relationship or who would feel uncomfortable by themselves. Some of our guests don't know many other people so we thought this best. However, some of my cousins would pick some floosy up in a bar the night before just so they could say they brought someone. I am not paying for that. They have done this before.
