WE're getting married at Woodbury CC. We have our DJ, Photographer, video, and priest/rabbi. Still need a florist. I found my dress and picked out bridesmaids dresses this week. I also looked at Fox Hollow and really liked it but we chose WCC since we're getting married outside. I just hope it doesn't rain on our day!

The planning is going well. I think I'm way ahead of the game. I have all the necessities. Band, photo/video, hall, church,limo's, my dress, BM's dresses, flowers and our wedding nite. The invitations i already know what I want, just a matter of ordering them. Ordering 'Save the Date' next week. I still have some things to tackle ie, jewelry for me, our rings, honeymoon, and I guess little things here and there. How about yourself? PS.. The reception is at the Westbury Manor and ceremony at St. Brigid's.

Staci- Planning is going great! I have had my dress since April/May. Our ceremony is at St Hyacinths and Fox Hollow for reception. We have our flowers, limos, video/photo, honeymoon, bridesmaid dresses, shoes... the only 'big' thing is a DJ which I am hoping to visit soon in the next month to finish that off. The invites are picked out. The favors have also been done. I can''t think of anything else right now! :)! Happy Planning! Nancy

Hi! Wow you got your dress early...I'm using Fanatsy Entertainment in Syosset if you still need a DJ.... I'm looking into florists next week-I remember when I looked into Fox Hollow, a wedidng was set up in the room with white and blush colored roses with burgandy flowers throughout. It looked great in that room. Just a thought :-)

Wow! Sounds like everything is set. I still need a florist-we're looking into a place next week-Flowers by Kelly in Lynbrook. Have you decided on wedding favors? I saw a cute idea in Yankee Candle catelog. They're mini votives with red/white/blue label that has our wedding date. I think it's 2.00 each! I'll be ordering them. We were also thinking about indoor pyrotech, but it's really expensive (fireworks come out of the floral centerpieces). I think we'll stick to sparklers .......are you doing anything with the July 4th theme???????
