Poll: Who is walking you down the aisle?

My parents both want to walk me down the aisle. I was wondering if this was customary.

no one walked me down. the ceremony was held on the brooklyn bridge so we didn't really have clear aisle for me to walk down.. besides our attire, we wanted it to be really informal.

I am having my father and my younger brother since my mom has passed. I think having both parents is touching!

My Father passed away, so I am torn between having my Mom or both of my brothers walk me down.

If my Father was alive, I would have both my parents walk me down.

I think it is beautiful to have both

My parents are. Than, again I'm not traditional. but I have seen and heard of both parents walking down their daughter. I see it like this. Is your day and you make it happen. Whatever, makes you happy..:)

I am having my mom and pop walk me down and I was thinking of having my 9 year old walk me down but he want's to play the wedding march song as I walk down so I thought that was a great compromise.

Well, my father is walking me down the first part of the aisle, which is a little more narrow. Then it opens up a bit as the aisles are a bit set back. That is where my mom will be waiting for us, and I will walk in between them the rest of the way to the steps for both my parents to give us away. I'm doing that for two reasons. One is that I don't want to be squished walking down the aisle with the three of us. The second is that I want to give my father the initial, long awaited father-daughter moment of walking me down the aisle, but I also want to honor my mother - so they will both be by my side giving me away.

It is customary to have both parents walk you down in a Jewish wedding. My mom wanted to walk me down the aisle, but then she changed her mind. She wants to be able to see me walking.

I'm still not sure. My dad passed away, and her husband and I don't get along, so it won't be him. I'm debating between having my mom walk me, one of my uncles, going by myself, of going half way alone and having my mom meet me. She doesn't want me to walk alone, but I know she'd also like to see me coming down the aisle, so I thought if I walk half way alone and meet up with her it might be a good compromise. We'll see!

I had just my dad and so did most of my friends. However I did have one friend who had both of her parents walk her down. I really is up to you.

My dad passed, so my brother is walking me down the aisle. My mother refused my sister's request to walk her two years ago, so I didn't bother to ask her.
