He makes about 15 more than me, but Im finishing my masters this summer and will get a nice raise. Hell still be making more than me but Ill catch up soon. It wouldnt bother me at all, but I hope it doesnt bother him.

He makes more but not by much.

Right now he makes about 10,000 more than me, but when I finish school in 07 - I know I'll be able to surpass him and he can't wait!!

I make about 3x more than he does, and it doesn't bother me one bit....as long as he contributes and is out there working....

I make about $5K more than him but wish he made a lot more than me so we wouldn't have to depend so much on my salary for our finances when it comes time to start a family.

I make more now..

But, after he finishes his residency, he will make more.

It doesn't bother me either way .. though I like making more now

we've gone back and forth... one will get a raise/ promotion.. then the other... so in the past 2 or 3 years we've gone back and forth like 4 times.

neither one of us cares since either way the other one still has to work BUT DH cant wait for me to make the Big bucks so that he can be a stay at home dad (*he wishes* ). unfortunately, we both want to be stay at home parents, so therein lyes the problem


yeah, but anyway.... neither one of us cares who makes more, as long as were both making money and paying our bills

He makes more and he will always make more. I am a teacher and he is an analyst finishing his MBA next month. It is just the way it is.

Right now I'm still in school and working aprt time, so he makes a LOT more...but he most likelyt alwyas will make more. He's got a degree in engineering and mine will be in theatre..soo....you do the math...


Oh and it doens't bother either of us. I don';t think he'd feel intimidated if I made more $$, but I think he likes it that he does, because he likes to feel like the provider


ETA: It DOES bother me that I make as little as I do and can't contribute more to our joint finances. I don't like the fact that he basically supports me, but I know that after I graduate I will be able to contribute a lot more. As long as I'm making a full time salary, I'll feel fine

I make more but only by about 6 or 7,000.

FH makes more he works for GE in the finance dept and has his MBA...I am a teacher...needless to say he will always make more and as long as we pay the bills and are able to have fun and spend on what we want i dont care who makes more...

He makes a heck of a lot more than I do, but I am not bothered by that.....the money all goes to the same places nowadays....thank gosh for that money...LOL

HEY, there's no option for 'we make the same'...

We make the same, pretty much. Well, if we're going to get technical, DH makes $2,000 more than me.
