Poll: Would you consider adoption?

We have definitely discussed adopting regardless of the fact that we are obviously able to conceive. If we decide to have another child, we want a girl, and adoption is one sure way to guarantee that we get one. I'm somewhat convinced that DH is only capable of producing boys and I would be dissappointed if I got pg again and it was a boy because I am not about to have more than 2 children just for the sake of trying for a girl.

That's the superficial reason for us considering adoption anyway. Obviously, there is so much good that is done by adopting that it is something we would both like to do anyway.

We're expecting our first in a couple of weeks. After we have 2-3 of our own and if we are financially stable we'd consider it.

I honestly believe it's one of the most selfless things a person can do. It's easy to love someone who is born from you. But it takes an extraordinary person to love another person's child like your own.
