Today is his birthday and he is really really sick. He was coughing all night and his throat hurts. I want to do something special for him, but I don't know what to do for him.

Great idea girls! I just got Slumdog Millionaire on DVD (a bootleg!) and maybe we'll order in something special for him. Or we could watch last night's Lost in bed.
I was thinking about getting him a Tasti-d-lite cake, but I don't know if that is good for someone with a cold...

i would go somewhere that has the best soup and get a movie and just snuggle up on the couch. keeping moderate distance so you don't get sick!! HAHA

I just had that thing- the whole throat ache. It stinks but if he sleeps a lot and drinks tons of water, he'll be good in a couple of days. I would get some take out and rent movies for his birthday.

maybe you can give him a massage but with like vicks vapor rub (that clears the nasal passage ways) and then wrap him up in front of the TV and watch a movie
