Port Jeff CC Brides......
You will NOT be disappointed!!!! Just got back from our honeymoon, so thought I'd let y'all know about the wedding. Port Jeff was PHENOMENAL!!! They service was outstanding, and the food --- oh the food was incredible!!! All of our guests were in awe about how good the food was. (Just a note for those of you getting ready to pick your menu - when they offer you the puff pastry appetizer - take the seafood filled puff pastry. It is to die for!!!!!! - When Steve first suggested it I wasn't sure, but it was SOOOO good that I could have eaten just that and been satisfied!) The bridal attendant and matre'D were very good and very attentive. As most of you already know, Steve is great to work with. I just can't say enough wonderful things about this place. I hope that you all have as amazing of a day as we did. (I'll post more on our other vendors in the days to come. Just thought I'd start with the reception hall!!!!)

I am so glad to hear that!!! My fiance and I are getting married there August 16, 2002. I CAN'T WAIT!!! Did you have an older gentleman as your Maitre D'??? We met an older man and really liked him. Where did you go for your honeymoon??? Definitely post all your info when you get the chance. Good luck being married!!!

The wedding was beautiful. The food was really good, great selection. Inside, the hall was so nice. Everything was really nice. You will not be disappointed.

I'm getting married 7/4/02 at PJCC. Please confirm for me - are their lights in the swags on the ceiling? Also - did the candles on the tables melt everywhere. I think someone had posted here that that was one of the things they remembered about PJCC - cheap candles....

I went to a wedding there around three years ago, they did have the lights overhead in the swags. However, I do not remember melting candels all over.Everything else was really nice. Continued success!

Thanks
It's weird the stupid things that stick out in your head once you hear them...it's so easy to get caught up in the most minute details...I understand it only gets worse as the big day approaches.....it's gonna be a long year for me...

Our maitre'D was a middle-aged woman. I can't remember her name, but she was very nice and very helpful. On our honeymoon we went to Cancun, Mexico for a week, then on a Royal Caribbean Cruise for the second week. The whole experience was absolutely wonderful!!!!! I'm very happy to be married (although sad that the big day went by so quickly)

As far as I remember, there were lights in the swags. (I think one of our pictures shows lights in the swags). As for the candles, to be very honest with you I do not remember whether or not they melted very fast. The candle that I DO remember melting very fast is one of our taper candles during our ceremony. I was panicking as it started going down very fast. I thought that we would never make it to light the unity candle before the church went on fire!!! Thankfully, we did make it, but there's not much left of that taper candle.

I got hung up in a lot of the details before the wedding, but I can't believe how the day just flowed and I never even thought about small details on the day of the wedding. All the worrying ahead of time must have paid off!!!Welcome New Vendors
