I have two aunts that are both breast cancer survivors and both had to have double mascectomys(sp). since this is october and breast cancer awareness month i just wanted to mention them

Bernadette Patitucci, my mother passed away april of '03 from breast cancer, this horrible disease that I do not wish upon anyone.

Ann Pierson - DH's grandma. She's a survivor. So are her TWO daughters! DH's mother didn't survive ovarian cancer though

My aunt margaret gorry she passed away 6-24-2004 I miss her Also my grandmother Helen gorry she passed away from breast cancer umong other diseases as well.

Shirley Chernak (my grandmother, survived breast cancer - only to be diagnosed with esophogeal cancer twice, rest in peace)
Sally Schuerlein, a wonderful woman, mother, teacher and friend. Rest in peace.
ETS: Shortly after I posted this, I learned my grandmother had passed away. Love and miss you, Gram.

My mom and my cousin are both survivors.
My best friends mom didn't fare to well.... We all miss her terribley.

One of my close friends who battled it at age 23 and is now helping her sister with it.
