Post July 4th Low Carb challenge...

to my Low Carb Ladies-

Is anyone interested in a low carb challenge? Basically a commitment to each other to be good, be as low-carb as possible & drink all our water? I need to do this SO BAD because I was HORRIBLE this weekend....

Any takers?

I'm with ya Sass! I will commit to being a good low carber after treating myself to all sorts of bad stuff all weekend.

Breakfast: Watermelon & a 16oz Propel Water (hopefully I can sneak in alot more water with this stuff)

YIPPIE!

I was so bad this weekend- but lets not dwell on it- it's in the past after all- no changing it now...

I had 1 iced coffee & 2 hard boiled eggs...

Does propel have glucose in it? be careful- if it does- it's no good.

I'M IN!

Breakfast was fruit slices (mostly melon, a few grapes, a few strawberry slices). And good old H20.

I'd like to join in if that's okay . . .

Trying very hard with the induction phase of atkins . . .

Had 'brunch' (slept late) - Chicken salad with mayo and scallions- 2 slices of munster cheese (done with cheese for the day).

My lunch was a salad with grilled chicken, shredded cheese, cucumbers and balsalmic vinegarette. I like it but I think I need some more variety in the salad arena.....

FutureMrsTC, on salads

Besides power bars, another lunch favorite of mine is mixed greens, with mozzerella, basil, and a couple tomato slices with a balasamic vinegarette.

OK- last night I had the best dinner- grilled catfish, creamed spinach & mushrooms- yum..

so far today- iced coffee (fixed usual way), 2 slices cheese, 1 slice roast beef and some sunflower seeds.

Re: Post July 4th Low Carb challenge...

Bad news: Totally missed dinner due to being temporarily insane and captivated by the NWR board antics...

Good News: This left plenty of room for a late low carb dessert. White Chocolate FF SF Jello Pudding w/cool whip..... awesome.

Breakfast:
Watermelon & Iced coffee

Re: Post July 4th Low Carb challenge...

Dinner: grilled ham and cheese made with low-carb bread! Excellent meal- simple but soo tastey!

Bread was total of 6 grams carb for both slices slices. With some berries for dessert I totalled right about 22 grams carb for the day.

Today: black coffee, not hungry yet...
