Is anyone interested in a low carb challenge? Basically a commitment to each other to be good, be as low-carb as possible & drink all our water? I need to do this SO BAD because I was HORRIBLE this weekend....
Any takers?

OK I had a little cheat- for dinner I did OK- had a cucumber salad and a steak & mushroom stirfry- but then I had the rest of the ice cream I made (from scratch) for the 4th of July... but the good news is- it's out of the house.. I probably had 1/2 cup.. doh!

I cheated a bit too. I really wanted Taco Bell, FH is on a business trip and he is the cook.
So I got a taco and burrito and put the filling in low-carb tortillas. One meat one chicken- no beans or onions so the filling was low-carb, but so much fat
Ohhh but it tasted good and got ride of my cravings... Happy now...

Ok so far today I had 2 hardboiled eggs, an iced coffee, 2 pieces of provolone cheese, 1 slice or roastbeef, a hand full of almonds, bbq tofu, a piece of eggplant and some edamame...
had a piece of ham & cheese quiche that was not crustless. Though I did a pretty good job at leaving behind most of the crust that I could get off. Water.....

Quarter end and financial compliance reports are due, it was a late night. But I'm in CA so I got out at 7 pm...
That French food sounds yummy. It is now in the past, don't beat yourself up about it!
I'm going to go hit the stairclimber...

Re: Post July 4th Low Carb challenge...
I wish I had a stairclimber- i have a treadmill- but we're in a fight right now- he accused me of not spending time with him, I told him I've been busy- so I don't know if he'll talk to me again or let me use him :)
Anyway- it's in the past- I'm a dork- I could've said- NO FRITTES- but I didn't.. it's funny how it's just HARDER when you are already married & have no GOAL....
This morning- 2 hardboiled eggs & an iced coffee.

Don't be to hard on yourself. I trie really hard the get on my stariclimber, but I was stuck like glue to this site..... I was doing so goood not missing workouts. Then FH cam home and we had a fight, so I truned to alcohol, JD and diet coke
But I think the fight is resolved, money-- I spend and he likes to save

Ok... I don't want to log on and see anymore posts from Sassy saying.. 'I had a little cheat last night...'
When I am struggling to decide what to eat, I ask myself.... What would Sassy Do? (I think I will have that put on a bumper sticker - WWSD?) and I try to pick the broccoli over the Rice A Roni!
You are my fearless leader! :-) be strong! No more frittes! LOL
Have a good low carb day my dear!
PS- ok I admit it I did take 2 tblsps of Rice a Roni last night......

Re: Post July 4th Low Carb challenge...
Bad girl tonight for a good reason . . . . celebrated our three year anniversary of being together and exactly two years to the date until the wedding. Went to sweetwaters in hauppauge. If you've ever been there, you know how bad i was . . . app. - spinach and artichoke fondue dinner- grilled chix w/balsamic, mixed baby greens, fresh mozz. cheese, balsamic vinigrette dessert-choc. peanut butter fondue.
First time there- that's whyI was so bad- wanted to go there forever. It was DEFINETLY worth the cheat!!
Tomorrow's another day- one be hard for me to get back on track- I am highly motivated lately!
