my request for hand cancelling at 23rd and lex was denied last night, so now i'm trying my luck at 54th and 3rd. wish me luck!!

oh god - they were so mean to me. the manager said that no USPS in NY state allows hand cancelling (which is TOTALLY a lie). they just didn't want to do it, and tried to make up stories to justify that.

well, i went to the PO at 54 and 3rd and they were so much nicer than the one i went to yesterday. the woman took my box from me, and said she would stamp them all later today. whether she actually DOES that, who knows, but at least she was nice! that's all i ask for!
guess i'll find out when guests start receiving them.

I am retarded but what is the difference between hand cancelling and if you just drop them in the mail box??????
Is hand cancelling when you see that red circle and no messy lines near the stamp???

Hand canceling doesn't go through the invite-eating machine. They stamp it manually (which takes a lot longer which is why the guy last night was probably such an A$$.
