Post office...GRRR!
So, I went to the post office to send the invites today.
Some were international, one was registered mail.
The girl at the counter weighed one and it came in at 1.9 ounces (anything under 2 is a 60 cent stamp)
So, I buy the stamps, put them on all of the invites, and hand cancel them all.
Then, another lady who does the sorting, says to me,
'ohh, is this the correct postage? Did you have these weighed.?'
I say, 'yes, they were weighed. This is the correct postage.'
She asks, 'umm, are you sure this isn't supposed to be 80 cents?'
I say, 'well, I guess I have to be sure because they're all stamped and cancelled already.'
So, now I am worried that they're going to get returned to me.
