Here's mine...It was a silk organza single layer fingertip length with a chiffon edge...

I had 3...one 2 tiered...used shorter tier as blusher...it was FINGER TIP

And had a cathedral

EDITED...I had finger tip not elbow...I get confused

Mine was 1 tier fingertip length mantilla with a blusher added on and rhinestones and a flower design along the edge.

The last picture you can see how the design went all the way around the veil.

I have a two tier fingertip length with rolled edges. I wanted a cathedral length but wasn't sure about having such a formal veil since we are getting married at our hall . . . with less than 3 weeks to go I am second guessing myself!

girls I don't know much about veils yet but just started looking around....I can envision what I want but don't know what to call it...

I know I do not want any edge on it...no satin ribbon, no piping - no nothing.

I want a long length...I guess that's called cathedral...to walk down the aisle with...also want a blusher. I want to take off the long piece for the ceremony and just keep on an elbow length veil....I like them puffy though and on top of my head. So are there 3 tiered veils....could I do 2 tiers elbow length - one would be blusher and then push it back over the 2nd elbow tier to make it full and puffy....and then the 3rd would be the long one that I can take off after ceremony. Does this sound ok - do they come like this???

I wrote the above post months ago....went for my first dress fitting today and ended up with the first and only veil I tried on! I explained what I want...very simple...and they brought exactly what I explained to me! I love it. So now I have a veil...yay!

ETA: I have a 2 tiered elbow length veil - raw/cut edge. The cathedral piece is on velcro b/c I will only wear that for the ceremony - will take it off and wear the 2 tier elbow length for the reception!
