Postage and RSVP date

Is anyone's RSVP date this weekend? Are you getting nervous that postage is going up on Monday, May 11th? I am freaking out a little because we still are waiting on so many RSVPS.

I've heard in the past sometimes the post office will honor the old postage for just a few days after the postage rates go up.

Honestly, this is why I put the forever stamps on my RSVPs. Even though the postage went up, those still 'work' with the new postage.

My rsvp is today. . I think the only good thing about it is it give you a chance to call people much more easily w/o sounding pushy. . like oh just checking in b/c we know the stamps went up and had other friends who said their RSVPs were returned

I wouldnt worry too much.. seems like you have a rsvp with plenty of time too so if a few trickle in you should be good; . and I agree with sandra, they sometimes give them a few days and prob esp if they look like RSVPs they might be nice!!!!

Hopefully that's the case. I am really keeping my fingers crossed. I am so hoping a ton of RSVP's come in today.

I just used forever stamps to avoid this issue.

Yea its a stamp of an ugly liberty bell instead of pretty wedding bells but whatever
