Postage ? for those with Pocketfolds

I just got back from the Post Office and they weighed my pocketfold invites and said that all I need is a $0.58 stamp.

Is that right?

I'm only concerned because other with pocketfolds had postage cost up to $1.16. I have a 6x6 pocketfold invite with 4 inserts. I just want to make sure this is right before I put the postage on.

Don't get me wrong I'm really excited about the cost of postage but I just want to make sure that it's right.

Should I have it double checked?

Yes, go to a different post office and get it double-checked.

mine had four inserts & were 6x6 and were about the same (mailed out before postage increased)...i brought a few different completed invites to weigh...just to make sure. HTH! (pics of them in DIY album)

That doesnt sound right to me. I used 2 58 cent stamps for a total of 1.16 per invite. You dont want your invites being sent back to you so to be safe get a second opinion.

I should've known something wasn't right. The ladies at the Post Office were not pleasant at all

I'll go back Wednesday (to a different Post Office) and get the right figure.

I bought 200 stamps so I hope they'll take them back if I can't use them.

I would just double check at another post office, that doesnt sound right to me and I didnt even do pocket folds

I'm pretty sure it was whatever the current wedding stamp rate was (they had 2 stamps together...one was for the invites & the other was for the RSVP envelopes)...cause i remember being surprised it wasn't more.

I got a FM from a member saying that the PO (just recently) have a new rule that if you are mailing a square envelope it's an additional $0.17 postage. I'm going to double check on this but I wanted to give you ladies to heads up to ask too if you're going to mail your invites.
