Postage Problem........helllpppppp...UPDATED

So I didnt think about this....

My rsvps have $.41 cent heart stamp on them. Are they going to get to me??? I am still waiting on like 100 responses!

I think the post office must be lenient at first and its such a small envelope. Does anyone know for sure???

UPDATE:

We got rsvps yesterday and today so the $.41 stamp is still working! Yesss! What about you ladies?

if i remember correctly someone posted a link and said the .41 cent stamps will be honored a little bit past may 12th, check the site to double check or call your local post office to ask them

I think if they are postmarked before 5/12 they should get to you, but if not i dont know if they will. Maybe your guests will add the .1c?

did you happen to use the Liberty Bell stamps? they're 'forever' stamps, so they'll still work

I asked about this since I wasn't sure what to do with my invites, and the post office in massapequa told me that there's a chance it would still make it back and they would still honor it, however... they don't know how other towns would work and if they would honor it. I didn't want to risk it though, and since I'm a psycho bride and wanted pretty stamps I put the .58 cent heart stamps on my RSVP envelopes.

I have the same issue. My rsvp date is 5/25. The guy at the post office said most places will honor it because it is a response card so it was most likely mailed out ahead of time.

I have the same problem. My RSVP date is jUne 1st so hopefully I will get them all back by then and the post office won't hold them up.

My rsvp date WAS May 10th, and I'm still missing over 100 responses. I was foolish enough to think that everyone would respond by the deadline and now I don't know what will happen.

same problem here, RSVP date is May 15th but i am missing 50 RSVPs, who knows if ill ever get them.

I got the forever ones just so I didnt have to worry but that meant no love stamps. oh well!

Did you put your address and your address as the return address on them?

Becuase technically, if they get mailed and they discard the postage as incorrect, the letter should be returned. If your address is listed as the return address, you should still get them.

i was wondering about this myself....but i received the last rsvp i was waiting for yesterday so i am thinking.......ya know how post cards cost less to send?? well maybe because this is such a small card it will be cheaper too.
