Postage question...
I'll be getting my Save-the-Date magnets this coming week, and I want to send them out ASAP. Does it cost the same to buy a roll of stamps as it does to bring them to the Post Office to be stamped? I'd rather put stamps on them myself. What do you think? Thanks!

I would take one of the magnets, exactly as they would be after addressing them, to the post office and weigh it. If it's only $.34, then you can do it at home. Or, you may have to buy extra postage. The stamps that you would put on yourself are more attractive than the PO red stamp (i think that's what they do?). Just a reminder that for your invitations, if they are being sent in the summer the price of stamps are going up.

brutal
wow, guys! I understand your frustration, but geez, maybe she is young or hasn't had a lot of friends get married or whatever! I don't think she sits home and tries to figure out ways to annoy the people on the board! I'm not saying her questions are brilliant, but I was taught, if you don't have anything nice to say.....

Postage question...
i don't think they are going to be heavy enough to need extra postage, but check and make sure. good luck! And don't let anyone make you feel bad, we're all getting married, we're all excited about it, it's all good!

I apologize for asking such a dumb question...
I think it's rude for anyone to even suggest or say that I'm asking a dumb question. What makes you think that you've never asked a dumb question? I definitely don't need opinions like that. So no, I didn't ask a dumb question, I just didn't know. Sorry I'm so stupid. You know it's people like you that really make me not even want to be a part of this board. I've been on this board for over a year, and never had a problem with anyone, maybe you shouldn't be on this board. What makes you better than me?

Postage answer
Just wanted to let you know...I ordered my magnets from the favor lady and had a card tied with rope and a feather and they were mailed for $.34 you cannot get a deal on stamps no matter how many you buy...if you want first class... but I believe the rolls only come as flags and you may want to consider getting the love stamps or another 'pretty' stamp

Hey Melissa: I did a search on Bridal from 1/1/01-3/30/02 and most of her posts are rude, obnoxious and nasty comments. She needs to get a life! We should just ignore her.Welcome New Vendors
