Postcard Vs. Magnet Save the Dates

I am just wondering which you opted to do for your save the dates. Postcards or Magnets. I am having a hard time deciding between the two. I always thought I wanted to do a magnet but I am liking the postcards now so you can write a little blurb on the back. I am so torn!

Also, what website did you use? I am looking at magnetstreet, vistaprint and weddingpaperdivas. Are there any others out there that you used and loved?

We are doing magnets - I just think that they are much more likely to be kept if its a magnet. I know that I was personally guilty of misplacing/accidentally throwing out non magnet ones in the past.

We did magnets just based on the fact that people will most likely misplace a postcard or throw it away. I've been known to do that as well, but for some reason always kept the magnets, and it seems a lot of our friends have them on their fridge whenever I go visit so I guess my theory maybe a little true lol

As for who we used, we purchased our save the dates through wedding paper divas. They can be a bit more expensive than sites such as vista print, but their quality is great. Def see if they're running a promo. They tend to do it every so often. :)

We did postcards, because postage was cheaper, lol. And I got them at Zazzle.com

We did magnets for the same reasons above. People tend to misplace or throw postcards away. We did ours through the place we got our invites at.

We did magnets for the same reason. We designed them ourselves had them printed through vista. Everyone loved them.

I didn't do a magnet just because I tried to save money. If magnets are in your budget then I vote for them! I love magnet STDs!

I did small cards in envelopes that I got for next to nothing off Vistaprint. I don't know if this makes a difference to you, but a friend sent postcard STD's and the one I got was wrecked by the time I got it, between the machines at the post office and what not.

Didn't do magnets...know too many people with stainless steel refrigerators lol.

I did magnets because....well I don't know lol, I just like them. But I have received both over the years.

Magnets for the same reasons as above.. I don't think they get thrown away & forgotten like postcards do. I used vistaprint since I think they had the cheapest and best deals on them.. always have coupon codes! and they are great quality!

I did not do magnets because I felt I had seen them a lot. I went with a postcard because I never saw one before (sent out last September). My sister sent them out for me, when one got to me, it was a bit beaten up and I was worried but it didn't seem to happen to anyone else's.
