Ok, I'm not getting married until May and I plan on having a rehearsal dinner the night before BUT in the meantime, I've decided to have a little bridal dinner party at my place. It's just my BM's and my MOH. I figured that a few of them don't know each other very well and this would be a great way for everyone to get to know each other better. I am going to make some food and get a few bottles of wine BUT.... I don't know what else to do. I was thinking some 'get to know each other games' but FH thinks that's cheesy. Does anyone have any ideas? themes? games? We're going to do a little wedding talk and all that but I can't think of anything else to do. Any suggestions????

maybe you can give each girl 3 small pieces of paper and have them write one thing you would never know or guess about them on each paper. Have everyone fold them up and put them in a bowl and then pull them out one by one and try to guess whos sentences it is??

I think since you are having a bunch of girls you may need nothing at all. Girls are not going to sit there and say nothing they are going to open up and talk to each other. I am sure in the beginning it may be weird. Maybe start off with cocktails or something in a different room then dinner so everyone can mingle.

I did that with one of my friends, whose wedding I was in. It worked out very well! And it was fun.
So I recommend something like this!

Good ideas ladies! Thank you so much! I was going to do a make up thing but then one of my bm's did it (only a few weeks ago). So I think they would be bored if we did it again! But otherwise, I so would do that! I really had a good time at my friends and would have loved to do it again. I'm open to some fun games. And I'm sure you are all right, 5 girls in a room won't be boring... We'll be talking non stop and just hanging out. But please keep sharing any ideas you may have... I'm loving them!

Great idea to make it something unique. You could do a 'Pampered Chef' party, get some good cooking stuff. Or a jewlery party, or lingere (if you think eeryone would be comfortable)...so many possibilities!

I was going to mention a pampered chef party too. I've never been to one, but from what I know they cook pizzas and other food. It should be fun! That and a few bottles of wine, and you won't stop 5 women from chatting! Have fun whatever you decide!

i think a pampered chef party is a great idea. I would also recommend a tastefully simple party if they have them by you. You could also see if there is a traveling type spa that would come and do manicures and/or pedicures.

i would defiantely do a tastefully simple party - that way you can relax and hang out with the girls - and you all get to eat.

I really like this idea., I do this from time to time have them all over so they can mix and mingle and it seems to be working.
the games are a bit cheesy..i would do drinking games if any. lol maybe do a passion party or something

When in doubt a good game of Taboo will get the Taboo and we are thinking about playing a round during our little get together (girls vs guys)
