We are in contract!! It's the best damn feeling in the world!! It's our first home and DH and I are still in shock...but yes, checked MLS & the realtor's site (in addition to what my agent and broker told me! ) and it's very much 'under contract'. Praying for a smooth closing 4/24!

and if you put some stucco over the brick and put it on the water in florida - I would as happy as you!!!

I am 100% convinced that the 'American Dream' no longer exsits on LI unless you're making over $200K.
look what you can have in other parts of the country for a FRACTION of the cost here.
what's so great about NY anyway? us NYers need to get over ourselves!
is having NYC close by an incentive enough to live in a $400K shack that needs work?

we are going to Maimi next week- and I hope to pick up a few real estate books-
we would move tomorrow- but he has to move the office- so it's not so simple- we'll figure it out
for now we have a great apartment on the beach- so we are fine
it's inspring to see other people making it happen!

I do...I'll try to post some tonight! The place is ginormous (over 3200 sq ft living space, about 1K more with the garages and deck)...we have zero idea what to do with all the space!!
