potted flowers as centerpieces/favors

What do you think of having beautiful potted flowers such as dalias, african violets, etc as favors? I was also thinking that the florist could arrrange them in such a way that they would make a beautiful centerpiece. What do you think of this idea? Have you ever seen it done. I am looking for any feedback. I thought it was nice and such an unusual idea and I wanted something different. Also, if anyone has pictures or websites that offer pictures I would be forever grateful. Thanks a bunch!

THat could be really lovely. You can use decorated pots in your colors or even glass bud vases interspersed. Unique idea!
