Prayers for my fuzzy baby :(

My dog is only 2 and has always been sick. Now she has some muscular issue that is making her not be able to walk or move much and have trouble breathing because even those muscles are weakened. Shes having surgery tomorrow to hopefully find out the cause. Im hoping for a christmas miracle.

Thanks girls. Ive been such a wreck. Worrying like crazy. Tomorrow whileses in surgery I have no idea how im going to concentrate on work. Im just praying for a miracle and her to be okay and feel better :/

Definitely will. Thanks girls. FH just doesn't understand the love of a dog, she never makes me mad and has better input on wedding planning lol. Although this surgery might be putting a damper on that :/

Waking up from anesthesia. Praying for no complications and being able to pick her up tomorrow night. But still wont be feeling better til we know what's wrong. Ugh so stressed!

Oh no, that is terrible! I hope your baby will be ok and they find the cause of her health problems. Im a pet mommy to (cats) so I know the love u have for them. Wish u and ur furry baby the best!

Shes home. Not feeling great. Now we play the waiting game for test results. In the meanwhile upped her steroids in hopes that its autoimmune. Glad to see her furry face at least :).

I'm sorry sweetie!!! It makes me sad hearing about sick animals, especially when someone makes them a part of their family.

I'm glad she's home. I'm so sorry you still don't know what's wrong. It so difficult to love our little fur babies so much and want so much to help them when they can't tell us what's wrong.
If it helps, I have had a couple dogs with chronic conditions (diabetes, thyroid issues, COPD) who lived LONG happy lives. One is sleeping contentedly on the couch next to me right this moment. She is (overall) healthier than she has been for a long time at 11 years old and I once had a vet tell me she'd never make it past 8. (My diabetic dog lived to 17.)
