An update on Grandpa...he's going to be having quadruple bipass surgery on Monday or Tuesday, so that's a little scary. But it's good that he's not in such terrible shape that they feel that have to perform it right away. So his heart muscle, which is really weak, will have a chance to rest and regain some strength.
We went to visit him tonight, and he's much more alert and sarcastic today than he was yesterday - he's just like his old cranky self!
He's been through this all before, about 20 years ago, he had a major heart attack, where his heart actually stopped beating, and they brought him back....so he's a fighter!

glad to hear he's doing better- and will be thinking of you when he has the surgery too!
