Lori, I just saw this - I'm so sorry!! But I'm glad he's in the hospital - it's the best place for him right now.

You and your family will be in my thoughts.

Just went to visit Granndpa tonight - he's healthier, but his mind is all over the place. They have to keep him in restraints, or he throws his legs around and rips at his tubes.....and he doesn't always know what's going on....didn't recognize my father....and then started crying when he realzed that he didn't recognize him.
I had to leave when he started trying to figure out how many days it would be until he could go home to be with my grandmother.....
i never realized how hard this could be....

and now, because he's so combative...they don't know when they're going to be able to do his surgery.....

Im sorry to hear that. my grandmother god bless her soul had the same thing when she couldn't remember who we were but she had altimizers discease. I hope all goes well with your grandfather lots of prayers for him
