Prayers Please from All the Mothers.- UPDATE

I am not really a regular poster anymore, but I wanted to ask your prayers.

My two good friends gave birth to their son on Monday. He was not supposed to live outside of the womb, according to their doctor. Foolishly, my friends never got a 2nd opinion and the child is indeed alive and growing stronger every minute.

however, this child will have a lifetime of complications and could possibly not live very long (he has infantile polycystic syndrome and a form of retardation called Dandy Walker Syndrome)...

Any prayers you all could offer to protect this little one would be greatly appreciated.. I know already that he is such a little fighter, but I am sure all of your 'mommy' prayers would help.

Update: as of yesterday the little one is doing fine! His Kidneys still aren't perfect- but at least there are no cysts in them and he is producing urine. He doesn't have any fluid on his brain, but there is a small cyst... the neurologist has ordered more tests to see how this may affect him. But he is doing SOOOO much better than all of the doctors originally anticipated! It is so amazing- they are even talking about the possibiltity of him coming home in a few weeks!

Thanks for all of your prayers ladies, I am confident that they have been heard so far.

Sorry to hear this news. Either the dr.'s were wrong or this kid is a fighter since he is still alive.
