Pre Cana

Anyone know of any Roman Catholic Parishes that do one super long day Pre Cana's?? My fiancee is station in Colorado Springs, Co and I am here. We see each other every 5 weeks or so.. but there aren't alot of Catholic Churches in Colorado. My parish here is St. Kilians and they are being so helpful and offered us precana in june, but the wedding is early july and we really don't wanna wait till the last minute.. Any tips!

St. Johns in Bohemia has a Saturday one that is all day long. My best friend was married there a year ago and that is what they did.

Holy Name of Mary in Valley Stream does a one day Saturday, early am til the 5pm mass. I think they are having one in April. Hope this may help :-)

**Pre Cana* St Cyrils in Deer Park**

We attended thier one day PreCana. I think they hold the one day session 4 x a year. You might also want to look into engaged encounter which is a one weekend session.

yeah we are having a ton of trouble. Not only is his family is upset b/c we picked july 5th and they can''t go the Jersey Shore and have to unfortunatly go to there sons wedding (argh!!) I hate dumb parents. But also, I have called the above parishes today to no avail, all there dates are in Aptil or September and that is really no help. I have tried speaking to his chaplin at the Academy and he isn''t much help b/c Joe is flying this semester so he flies on saturdays.. argh. Right now I am trying to call parishes by the Air Force Academy and hoping for something!! But if anyone knows anything here, between March 23- April 2nd please help Laurie

I believe St. Thomas in West Hempstead also has a 1 day pre-cana. I don't know what part of the island you are on, though. Did you try calling the Diocese? I am actully going for pre-cana this weekend, and it is one day. But we are going to my FI's parish in NJ.

Thanks Kris, I will try calling there tomorrow. I called the diosese of RVC and they are of no help. I am currently calling parishes in Philly (were his family is) as well as in Colorado (were he is stationed) I actually might have found a 3 day one from Feb8-10th in Colorado for 80 bucks, you sleep in sleeping bags at a school but he has to see if he can be excused from flying first on saturday morning and then I have to run out and get a ticket!! argh!!
