Re: Pre Cana???
We went through the Diocese of Rockville center weekend program.....you can call them and they will send you a pamphlet on the dates available...It went from Friday night at 7:30 to Sunday until about 12:00.

I did it through the Diocese of Rockville Center and my church was in Suffolk. We went for a Saturday and a Sunday, 10-4 I think. They usually let you out by 3.

Re: Pre Cana???
The Diocese of Rockville Center also has weekends non-overnight sessions and weekday sessions at different parishes. You dont have to be a member of the parish they are held at.

Re: Pre Cana???
Go to the Diocese of RVC website and/or call. they run a lot of weekend retreats that count towards the Pre Cana requirement.... they sometimes called these weekends Engaged Encounter, so if you hear that, that is the same thing as Pre Cana. As long as your church is in the Diocese (which is any RC Catholic church in Nassau or Suffolk) any thing offered by the Diocese will count towards your Pre Cana requirement.

Re: Pre Cana???
When FI and I went to pre-cana there was another couple not getting married in our church at all, and they were able to attend. Ours was Tuesday nights from like 7:30-9:30pm but we had three consecutive weekly sessions and 2 nights at the church; not just one weekend.Welcome New Vendors
