FH and I have Pre-Cana tonight and tomorrow. Not sure what to expect - anyone gone through it already?
it's not bad.. we did it over like 5 weeks though, once a week for an hour. We had fun, but coordinated with his cousin and his fiance so that we knew another couple there haha... they mostly just ask the hard-hitting questions like who will pay the bills, when do you want kids, who will cook/clean, etc. to see if you are both on the same page with each other.
we did it too and I have to say we enjoyed it. It was not religious at all. they spoke about communicating and making sure you are on the same page, topics to discuss before getting married so there are no surprises down the road. we did it over 4 weeks at a hosting couples home with 4 other couples.
We did a Friday Saturday one too! It was wonderful! :)
I did one a couple of weeks ago and I actually really enjoyed it. Every place does it differently, but its great to talk to each other about topics, to know your relationship is strong and to think about the future. We had some really amazing speakers with different degrees and some of them were super entertaining. They shared a lot of experiences and stories and we thought it was a great weekend. Hope you have a good experience too!!!
