We start Pre-Cana tonight. It is at an inconvenient time- 5:00-8:30 but other than that I am kind of excited- am I strange???
It just kind of feels like the wedding is more real since we are doing this part. Has anyone else done it already? What did you think?

I felt the same way! We did the Saturday Pre-Cana last week, and it really made things feel more REAL! I gave FH a 'To-Do' list of calling the Monsignor (who is marrying us) to set up a 'follow-up' appt and an appt to set up the ceremony and also to call the deacon to schedule the rehearsal! yet

Re: Pre-Cana Tonight
We start next weekend. When we first met with the priest last week I got kind of excited...I feel like you get so caught up in planning and the money that the church stuff gets put on the back burner - which is unfortunate b/c that is the root of the marriage ...the ceremony! I feel like starting pre-cana will keep me grounded in realizing that there is alot more to the wedding than just the reception.
