Pre-Review of Dante Tuxedo, Westbury

Adam and I had met people from Dante at a Scotto Showcase, found them to be very kind and knowledgable, and decided that when it was time to do choose tuxedos, we would to with them. Besides, the Westbury store is RIGHT near our offices, on Old Country Road.

We went tonight and met with a blond woman - I believe her name was Trisha but I'm probably wrong - and she was once again very kind and knowledgable. She and I discussed vests (I'm very particular about color, it's the ONE thing I can grasp in men's clothing), and then we had Adam start trying on Tuxedos. He chose a 2 button jacket with a single lapel, a paisley patterned vest (he's in a LIGHT silver, the Dads are in a Darker silver, and the GMs are in periwinkle blue to match the BMs), and a long tie instead of a bow tie. He looks SO good. I took pictures and I'll try to remember to post them.

They are giving us a good deal due to the number of tuxes we are renting (Groom, 7 GMs, Best Man, 2 Dads, 1 Jr. GM = 12). So far I am very happy with my dealings with them.

Just wanted to let you guys know!

Thank you PrincessRose! Tuxedos are one of the bigger things we still have to do, so I'm going to suggest to FH that he go to Dante.

Thank god you just gave a good review. FH, FMIL, FBIL and I went on Tuesday to look at tuxes. We sort of just ran in there after going to another store that sucked big time. I have to go back tomorrow night with the sash from my gown to match the vest color for FH and get a tux for my father. I'm so glad to hear that you had a good experience with them so far.

We used Dante too and they were great!!
They even called us to let us know one of our groomsmen didn't pick up his tux yet (the night before the wedding)... he ended up making it there in time, but i thought that was nice of them.
The guy (Mike??) was very nice and helpful.
