Precana help, this is so ridiculous!

I just sent in a check for $225 today, we're doing it through St. Thomas the Apostle, which is our officiant's parish. It's a Saturday evening and then Saturday 9-4.

You are lucky. I couldnt get the person who runs the pre-cana to send me any info about signing up. I got nervous because my wedding was only 6 months away, so I called the diocese and signed us up for the pre-cana they offer at Kelleneberg.

After I signed up, I faxed the church the paperwork showing we were all signed up. Two weeks ago, they finally call to get the pre-cana ball rolling and I told them I already took care of it myself since I never heard from them. Guess they never got my fax.

Hi Ladies,

First of all, no one at the RVC Diocese EVER returns phone calls. Second, they charge $250!!!!!!

Everyone is telling me they never paid that much and I should check around.....Soooooooo, where did you guys go, and how much was it????

My FSIL got married there and did not pay for Precana. That was only last yr. I live in Bethpage and my parish is asking for $50.
That is crazy what they are asking and the fact that you are also paying, im sorry, donating to the diocese after that...the money is adding up!
