I year. I would like to plan to have it close to the summer. I work in a school district. So I have summer off and would like to have that time with the baby. But if I could ASAP after we are married

What a great question. My FH says we should have a honeymoon baby, but I don't think he is too serious about that. We love kids and want to have kids soon after the wedding. We might start trying 6 months after the wedding. I have a 1 year old niece who I am very close with and adore. My sister wants us to give her a cousin to play with. We have been together for over 5 years and have lived together for 1. I am gonna be 26 this year and he is gonna be 24. What do you think, should we wait longer or is that a good plan?

I don't plan on going back to school (I graduate with my MBA on Sunday!!!), so I would like to start early '05. FH wants to wait til he is finishes law school and takes the bar in '06

I wanted to have my first child before I am 30, but it doesn't seem like that's going to happen.

I'd like to start ASAP! I'm 32...BUT... I work in the city and I live at exit 66 on long island. My 2 hr commute won't really work - SO, I am trying desperately to find work on Long Island so we can have kids..

I'm nervous! Seems like I've spent so much time trying NOT to get pregnant...can't imagine trying to!!

I'd love to have kids right away .. but we'll probably wait one year, just until I find work closer to home (I commute into Manhattan from Westchester) , and FH resolves his current job sitaution .. not to mention our living situation!

That said, I'm dying to be a mommy .. I'm 33 and SOOOO ready

If FH had his way, he'd be with the 'honeymoon baby' votes. I finally finished my PhD last summer, and will still have one year of a 2 year post-doc left when we get married. I'd like to actually start a job after all of that! I'll be 30 when I get married, so we'll likely wait a year or so (?)

I think the comment about spending time trying not to have a child and then switching thinking to the other side was hillarious

If my FH could have it his way, I'd be walking down the aisle 6 months pregnant!

I told him I don't want to be pregnant for our wedding..I don't think my dress would fit so good. We will probably try a few months after the wedding...FH will be 35 on our wedding day, I'll only be 23 but I am ready too and always wanted to be a young mom! Who knew it would happen???

FH and I already have 2 daughters together~Brianna is almost 6 years old and Mikayla is 4 1/2 (I was 19 when I had my oldest daughter)
