Eventhough we're getting married in Feb, we went on our honeymoon first and I wanted to share my pics. Last year was tough, my FI was diagnosed with leukemia and I was miserable at my job. After his 2nd round of chemo, I quit my job, cashed in all my mileage and we headed on our trip.
It was amazing! Made more amazing after we found it he was in remission our 3rd night of our 3 week trip. We flew business class the whole way - which alone was worth the hell I went through with work!! Japan Airlines was amazing, with lie flat seats.
We flew to Tokyo from JFK, via Chicago, first and spent 3 nights there. I had lived there in hs but it was a great treat for my FI. Helped him get used to the time change but it was cold.

WOW - congrats on a wonderful trip and more importantly on the good health!! My FH had leukemia for 3 years and it is a difficult disease. I have so much respect and admiration for anyone whose dealt with it!
