Pressure- what's yours?
Is anyone putting a lot of pressure on themselves about one thing. Mine is my weight. And, I swear it is over 10 pounds. I'm getting married in 4 months and feel like delaying it because I do not want to get married without losing the weight. I know this sounds pathetic, but I haven't been this heavy since college. Why now? Argh.

Re: Pressure- what's yours?
I know what you are going through, in the last 6 years I have gained 60 frieken pounds....Can you believe it?
I just don't know what to do anymore. It's not about the food, so when people say go on a diet, they mean well, but it won't work. Are you under a lot of stress right now?

Re: Pressure- what's yours?
I would have to say the same.. I need to lose 20 pounds! I have seven months to go. Can't someone just invent a button that you could press on yourself to lose any amount of weight that we wanted to?!! That would be neat.. but that's too easy right?

Re: Pressure- what's yours?
If anyone can understand body issues its me. I am very self conscious all the time. Since I was a very young girl I have hated my body. However, I try to keep things in perspective. For example, will losing 10 lbs make your wedding more memorable? will it make your husband adore you anymore? will it make a difference? I would bet that the answer to all three of those questions would be NO. Plus, lets say you do lose the 10 lbs you prob will still find something to nit pick about regarding your body - its human nature and I can totaly relate to your issues but girl its your wedding day - stop fussin' and enjoy

My weight + getting things checked off of my 'to do' list (things aren't getting done fast enough)!

Re: Pressure- what's yours?
I'm on weight watchers, and I've lost and gained the same three pounds since february. I was at goal weight exactly a year ago, and struggling to get back down. Even at goal weight I wanted to lose more, but instead I went the other way. I am under a lot of pressure in general. I literally lead 5 lives. I'm always doing something. In any free time I have, I try to go to the gym.

Re: Pressure- what's yours?
my pressure is just to look the prettiest FH has ever seen me - he is weird with when he thinks I look pretty, so I'm nervous he won't like the whole 'look' (for instance, he hates makeup and thinks I look better just lounging around - as if!)

Re: Pressure- what's yours?
Weight is definitely a big one...trying to lose 10 lbs which doesn't seem like a lot but it is so damn hard! Also, cutting the guestlist - right now, I have 25 more than the hall can even hold and I don't know who else I can cut.

Re: Pressure- what's yours?
With the thought of getting engaged, I started Weight Watchers over a year and a half ago. Thank God because I have been fluctuating so much. That would cause a lot more stress.I am worried about losing the last 10 pounds and toning my body. I want to look beautiful for FH. And wear a bikini on our honeymoon
Another stressful thing, Saving..... That is causing a lot of stress for us.

Re: Pressure- what's yours?
Yeah, I would have to agree with you all about the weight, I almost wish I was still pregnant, at least then I was so sick I couldn't EAT! Not only that, I quit smoking during my pregnancy and decided not to start again after the baby came, so that's real pressure for me. I keep replacing the cigarettes with food - and NOT the good stuff! Plus with my son's recent diagnosis and his therapy, heck my life is just one big ball of stress! But I know it will be alright, FH loves me just the way I am!

Re: Pressure- what's yours?
Saving for this shin dig is definitely a pressure! Every time I buy myself something, even coffee, I think about the money I'm wasting. I need to start playing lotto more often!

Many of our guests have never been to a NY wedding and are so excited to come to ours. I just hope they aren't hyping it up in their minds and are disappointed when they come.

Re: Pressure- what's yours?
I would have to say I could stand to lose about 10 pounds......I am a pretty skinny person but for some reason my stomach just does not wanna be skinny. I look like a have a small mans beer belly and I dont even drink beer
I have about 9 months left to lose some weight I keep promising myself that I will start working out soon, but then things just get to busy!!

Re: Pressure- what's yours?
2 weeks to go and I have given up on the whole weight issue. I finally relented at my last fitting and told Phyllis to take my dress out an inch. FH sees my fat azz every day....it's not like he's gonna run from me at the ceremony because I didn't lose 20 lbs.My current pressure is trying to get everything done in a timely manner where I can enjoy the last week of the month. Thankfully all I have left is putting bows on the favors, placecards and printing the programs!!! Gee, can I get that all done by the 20th????
