Price difference from September to December?? Off Peak Pricing
I was just curious how much money can we save by going off peak? Do you have any price quotes for Sat/Sun afternoon or Sat night during off peak months?? Thanks. Just trying to see if it is worth it to switch our date to an off peak month.

The price quotes I received for several halls was around 65pp on Fri and Sun, and 75 pp. There was a huge price difference since we went off peak.

It really depends on the hall, however, most places that I called the price was the same Nov-March and it would usually be around $10-$15 cheaper per person.

not everyone can swing a Thursday night wedding. Most people (guests) don't like weeknight weddings.

who cares what your guests like. its what you like! if people wanna be at your wedding, they'll be there. its the same thing as a friday night in the sense that people are coming from work

It's true, whomever wants to be at your wedding will be at your wedding. However, if we can make it less inconvenient for them, why not?
Maureen, you already have prices to a few places that you've visited. Give them a call back and get prices for the time that you're possibly willing to switch to. They will gladly tell you and you will be comparing apples to apples. Be upfront with them and they will work with you. jmo2cents

well i have to say that i know what my hall charges ppl in the summertime on a saturday nite--and i think i have one of the CHEAPEST rates for this reason:
Off-Season Wintertime February Sunday Daytime reception over by 5 p.m.
besides a thurs. (which ppl aren't fond of), it really just does NOT get any cheaper than that.

Thanks. I really had my heart set on an outdoor ceremony but if it's that much cheaper I may have to go into off season. I would just have to find an amazing indoor ceremony option. I guess I should call vendors I met with and fid out the difference. Hey maybe then I could afford my Saturday night. Is Nov. considered off season? Where do you take your pics if it's too cold to take them outside?

Thursday night would probably be great price but it wouldn't work out with my OOT guests. I wish all my guests were local then I could do a Thursday night.

November is not too cold. Hey, it's November right now. I was so pumped last week at my cousin's wedding that I was NOT cold. You can brave it girl!
