Price of Invites

Price of Invites

I have been looking at how much you girls have been saying you've spent or are willing to spend on invitations and I need to know if I may be spending too much... I REALLY could care less about invites, I just want them to look nice and classy, but nothing over the top... I got quoted for a price for 200 invitations... this includes thermography, a small ribbon and small rhinestone buckle on outside pocket, and our names in Hebrew (not sure why that's an 'extra' but whatever lol)... how much would you think my quote was for??

Did it include inner envelopes?

Addressing (inner and outer envelope, return address, rsvp envelope address?)

For 200, I am guessing around $1,000?

Re: Price of Invites

how many enclosures?

i was quoted 1000 for 100 invites and it didn't include that much.

i'm assuming you were quoted closer to 1600 or so

Sorry, what do you mean by enclosures?? lol I am really not savvy at ALL with wedding lingo hahaha ... I got quoted for 200 pocket invites with one layer underneath the actual invite, thermography, 2 layer outside monogram.. they also included response set and return address envelopes (reg. envelopes too!)

Mine were under 200. I didn't want anything fancy, I wanted something modern looking, so mine are flat digital printed. No rhinestones, no buckles, just simple pretty invitations.

Im gonna say you were probably quoted between $1000-$1500...

Some invites are insane prices!!

We arent spending more than $500 on ours. I can't see spending the money when they end up in the garbage anyway.

You can find affordable ones or DIY... I am DIY and I am spending about $100 max with all enclosures, ribbons, etc.

I would guess around $1000

honestly... the pricing on invitations vary soooo much.. depending on company, quality, size, how many cards they are including, calligraphy.. its hard to make a prediction.

some people spend 400 on invites.. some spend 2000. I was closer to the 2000 for 175 invites with calligraphy etc and a crystal embellishment and all the cards

but i would just price around.. that your best bet

Hebrew cannot be generated with a regular design program because of the reading direction. They need a special version of the program or they have to pay someone else to create it for them.

That's why it prob cost more!

Yeah!

I am glad FH decided he didn't want the Hebrew date and his Hebrew name on the invite. Finally SOMEWHERE we can cut costs
