Price of Invites

I have been looking at how much you girls have been saying you've spent or are willing to spend on invitations and I need to know if I may be spending too much... I REALLY could care less about invites, I just want them to look nice and classy, but nothing over the top... I got quoted for a price for 200 invitations... this includes thermography, a small ribbon and small rhinestone buckle on outside pocket, and our names in Hebrew (not sure why that's an 'extra' but whatever lol)... how much would you think my quote was for??

$1900 is a lot to spend on invites but thats JMO... If you feel they are worth it and you love them go for it. If you are on the fence about it look around.. you might find something awesome for much less

I'm so on the fence bc I totally dont care but they do look really nice and it's a friend of a friend so I dont wanna offend her but just as well if I can get it for less right??

I know its hard since is a friend but you gotta do whats good for you If you are ok spending that much I say go ahead... however I would def look around and weigh out your options and prices... all that money saved if you can get cheaper ones can go toward something else at your wedding maybe an upgrade or something

do you have a picture of what it looks like? $1900 is a lot and you can shop around and probably find something comparable and for a better price. like you said, people are going to throw this out and most will probably lose them within the first few weeks of receiving it (that's my experience )

Here is a pic (hope it works)-- I want option B for the outside (these arent the true colors... the purple is really a sangria... and the invitations don't have the Hebrew yet.. but where the font is in bold print, that is what's going to be translated into Hebrew letters) but you can get the idea.

You should most def try to negotiate! I'm paying 725 for 100 pocketfold invites with two enclosures and ribbon, as well as the addressing. J&D Invitations!!! Try them, Jan is awesome and willing to work with you.

I believe it is thermography. It wouldn't hurt to atleast give J&D a call. They're an LIW vendor
