Just thought I'd ask for a favor, it may be to personal to ask. I was trying to get an idea what everyone was paying per head for their reception to show/prove my point to FH about the cost. Thanks ladies!!
We're getting married on a Saturday night and the price per head is $70 plus 8.625% sales tax and a 17.7% service fee. All calculated out is comes to $91 a head.

Re: Price Per Head?
Sounds to me like you're getting a great price.
For a Sat night, we are paying $80pp + 22% service charge + 8.625% sales tax. Together, that's $106.02 per head. (And we talked them down in price!) Our service fee is also taxed, which raises the price quite a bit.

Re: Price Per Head?
We're also at $70 per head before tax/grat. And yes, sometimes you have to prove to people that these are realistic prices! My mom still thinks I'm being too extravagent, when really we passed up more of the extravagent options.
We're paying $140 per person (that includes tax and gratuity) for a Saturday night. The only extra we're getting (at the moment) is the chocolate fountain.

We paid $90 per head + tax and grat.
I think it came out to about $115 a head when all was said and done.
That was Saturday night, but in February. I know the price went up for the next weekend, which was in March.
ETA: and we booked in January of 2005. So that would be two years ago now just about.
