I seriously need help guys. I'd like to know the price range for a photo+video package. Approximately what is it, bc I have been looking at $6000 - $7000 packages. R these acceptable? or Am i being cheap. Please Help !

I think this is pretty good -- we were quoted 6500 from a pretty high end photographer and videographer after we did lots of negotiating (and we are off season).
I know some girls had cheaper quotes than this, I had a thread earlier today about it.

Yes thats good for your time of year. My place came down from 7300.00 after they realized i was a Feb bride!

You can definately go lower if you wanted to and still get really nice pics and videos. How many places have you been?

i wouldnt say its impossible. i just wouldnt go to vendors off of this site because they tend to be pricey. i did go to one photographer, im trying to remember his name, and i believe he was around 2700, so im sure you could find video under 2000 and then you would be in the 4-5000 range.

DEFINITELY NOT impossible!!!!! We were able to get Alberto from Duet for less than 6,000 and they are amazing!!! FM me if you would like info. with exact pricing- we were able to get a deal, but still- it started @ less than 6,000- you won't even believe all that was included in our package.

Def not impossible - I would check out Glenmar Studios in Roslyn. It was one of the places we went to and you could get both for probably around $4500.

We're going on the lower end...we're using my sister's best friend's husband who is really artistic and does great work but just starting out. We're getting full photo/video packages with albums and all, for $3000. His work is in the vein of Andreas Rentsch, Blue Daisy, etc...

WOW, thats alot! I am paying about $5000 for photo and video from ProLine. They are really, good, know two people who used them and LOVED them!

That is a good price range for a photo/video together. We are spending $7000 for both photo and video with one photographer and assistant and one videographer and assistant. Most of the other quotes were in this price range as well so it all came down to the quality of the work and with whom we felt most comfortable. But that is a good price range for sure.

you can def get something cheaper and good quality. you should check out dan saviano from golden moments. dansaviano.com and golden moments is a vender on here. Also check out 12th night. both are really great photographers and will be cheaper then what your looking at.

Not a bad quote. I'm paying $5,350 for photo and video. I picked mid level packages. There was a less expensive package for photo and video.
1 digital coffee table album 10x12 up to 12x12. 75-100 images/40 pages. All proofs CD/DVD. Full coverage of day 8-10 hours
Elite Video 8-10 hour day coverage up to 2 locations. Full edit with picture montage. Recap of the day. Musical background for all montages. 3 chaptered DVD's included.
