Price Ranges for Gown Designers

Can you ladies share what the price rnages were for the designers you looked at? I just want to have an idea before I start really looking of what designers are in what price range. THANKS!

My maggie sottero was 1,000

I saw it at macys for 1500 butordered it at burtons for the lower price!!!

Mine was a cheapie also compared to some !

Maggie Sottero (my gown) makes gorgeous dresses and they are very reasonable. My dress was being sold in the shops for close to 1,000, and I paid MUCH less ordering it from Netbride.com ($600!)

I don't think any Maggie's are more than $2,000, but some girls might know differently than I do

Yes, my Maggie was $950 plus alterations at Lillette's. Thank God for this site. I was literally just about to call and order it when I found it at Burton's for a little more than $600.

Mine is by Moonlight- It costs $1400 which includes tax and custom made straps.

Mine was a Jim Hjelm and I got it at RK Bridal for $810 ($300 cheaper then anywhere else).

I looked at several Demetrios dresses. The ones that I looked at started at $500 and went up to about $900. They had several at RK and also Commack Wedding Center at great prices.

Mine is by Paula Varsalona and it was $4500. It was on sale for $4000, and I changed the fabric from silk to satin and that dropped it down to $3500. That includes alterations. They will even come the day of the wedding to 'dress' you. (I think I can do that myself though!!!)

I orginally thought in my head that I would spend $1500 tops...I saw the dress and fell in love with it. Mom my bought it for me, so I was really lucky. If it wasn't for her, I wouldn't have been able to get it. But I still think it's an insane amount to spend on something I'll wear for one day....

Now - I just have to lose some weight!!
