prices for veil and headpiece?

I saw some beautiful headpieces at a showcase. What is the average cost for a headpiece with a veil. The ones i saw were $300-400 for both. Is that average, above, or below???

I think that is average, I saw some veils without tiara's for about the 200-300.

I got a very simple viel w/ no headpiece for under $100 at a bridal store. It just depends on what you want, mine was on a comb w/ a pencil edge organza trim. nothing spectacular but it goes great w. my dress.

I got my tiara for $100 and cathedral length vel for $129 at Patchogue Floral.

Try ebay - I got my beautiful cathedral length veil for $20 and my tiara for less!

I got my veil and tiara from Lace House Bridals in Patchogue.

I got veil for $90 and tiara for $40

I got my veil and tiara for $140 for both pieces from Patchogue Fantasyland...they hada really good selection!!

I saw a pretty veil in the city for $50
So you can def. find things discounted...you have to look!

I paid $175 for my tiara. I just ordered my custom made viel for $200.

Avg. - but mine was only $75 (Chapel Length) Check out Barrons in Tri-County.

I bought mine from Denise Leli.
My Tiara and veil was $500 altogether.
My veil has two pieces to it.
It has a finger length veil as well as a cathedral length. The cathedral part comes off so after the ceremony I have just the fingertip length. I also had rhinestones added to the bottom of the veil.
If I did not get the cathedral length it would have been $400.

Sorry I could not attach the pic. I am actually going this Saturday to pick up my veil
and headpiece. I was promised it for June and she is done with it already.
I am confident that I am going to like what I see.
She has a lot to choose from. You can even tell her what your budget is and
she will show you in your price range.
My limit was $500.

JennandTim: You got both your tiara and headpiece for $500? I was quoted $475 just for the tiara and another $375 for the veil. Did you go through a bridal shop or to Denise directly?
