OK, so I just met with my first potential photo/video...for $4,100 they includ 1 photographer (all day no overtime) with proofs on disc & rights, engagement shoot, main album, 2 parent albums, 100 thank you cards & 1 videographer for ceremony & reception with 3 DVDs of edited video to music with photo montage. I met with this company with my mom...we were there for 2 hours and we thought he was very nice & seemed to be very honest. He went through everything with us. Does this pricing sound reasonable for everything he's offering? Do you think I should continue to shop around & risk losing my date with him? My mom thinks I should book with them because we both liked him & it seems like what he's offering for the price is reasonable...sooo confused!

Re: Pricing for Photo & Video
You might want to consider having two photographers...one videographer should be fine. Also make sure you are getting ALL of your proofs and a hard copy of all images and the unedited video in addition to the edited one. You should also inquire that they give you an extra video that remains sealed should one of your other copies get damaged (they use it to make you more copies). Some places also throw in some larger sized photos in addition to your albums.

Re: Pricing for Photo & Video
I got this unadvertised special in a photographer’s newsletter and it looks like a really amazing package deal.
I don’t know if I’m allowed to post his newsletter so I won’t but here’s the link to it: http://www.gemasana.com/newsletter/unadvertised-package-special.pdf
