Do any of you ladies have any thoughts about Princess Bridal? I've read some serious negative things about the place. I live right down the block, and this place has been there for YEARS and YEARS, but it's just so run down looking. I saw a dress on theknot that I loved and the only place that carries it is Princess, but I'm so nervous to go there. Any feedback is appreciated!

I think it's fine to go and try on the dress there. If you like it, you can always go to another bridal dress store that has a better reputation and ask them to order the dress for you. Most salons will do that.

I actually got my dress there because my mom works with someone who knows the owner.
It definitely does look run down, but I found the people there to be really nice. They helped me try on a bunch of dresses. I also told them my price range and they stood within it. Didn't get my dress altered yet though, so I'll let you know.

We are in the same situation, I have read so many bad reviews but my mom lives down the block from Princess so I decided to make an appointment and check out the dresses anyway. They have brands I really like so it may be worth give it a try. I will go there tomorrow, so I will let you know how it goes!

I have had a great experience there so far. I ordered my dress a couple months ago.

I was told they had a dress I was looking for over the phone and then when I arrived the woman made a comment that it would never fit me and then they didn't even have the sample.
Who is the designer? You can always see what other stores carry that designer and see if they'd be willing to order the sample on like a loaner.

OK so I went to Princess this morning and I had a great experience! Carmela was really nice and helpful. I fell in love with one of the dresses but I have an appointment at Village Bridal tomorrow, so if I don't find anything I love at VB I will be getting my dress at Princess!!
