I use the Proactive system. I think it works amazing for me. The only problem I am finding is the cold weather. My skin gets so dry. I was going to purchase the Proactiv Solution Oil Free Moisturizer SPF 15, off the site but found it is $21 plus shipping. Does anyone know a place I can get it for cheaper or can you recommend a good moisturizer lotion to use over the repairing lotion? Thanks

Re: PROACTIVE USERS...PLEASE LOOK
I decided after doing a little research on line that I am going to just switch the package that I get from proactive. I normally got the 3 piece system but for the winter I am going to get the 4 piece moisturizing package. It is $10 more and I think it will be worth it.

Re: PROACTIVE USERS...PLEASE LOOK
I use the regular moisturizer, I don't know what it is called though, but it has SPF. What is the difference between that and the repairing lotion? I just started ProActive, but it makes my skin really dry, too. Does that go away?

Re: PROACTIVE USERS...PLEASE LOOK
The repairing lotion is the one that comes with every package. It is the face wash, the astringent and the repairing lotion. Yes i believe that alot of people will have dry skin from proactive. There is sooo much benzoyl peroxide in these products that it dries out your skin. That is why I decided to change my order from getting the 3 piece set to the 4 piece set. The 4 piece comes with the SPF15 Moisturizer. It will stop my face from being so dry.....especially now that it is cold out.

Re: PROACTIVE USERS...PLEASE LOOK
i tried proactiv and though it worked great, it was too expensive. I looked on the bottle, saw that it's main ingredient is 10% benzoyl peroxide - i went to eckerd and bought Clean N Clear (the cream cleanser not foam) in the purple bottle for $6 bucks! And it worked great. I used it for years until my skin changed and it became too drying for me to use.
edited to add: I like Clinique's moisturizer - the basic yellow one.

Re: PROACTIVE USERS...PLEASE LOOK
I too have been using Proactiv for a few years. The moisturizer I like, and I have oily skin, is Clinique but not the yellow one, it's in a tube and it's clear. i can't think of the name but it's like one of the only moisturizers that doesn't add to my oilyness and doesn't cause breakouts.
