Problems with Avent bottles

Problems with Avent bottles

Did anyone have any issues with the Avent bottles leaking while the baby eats? It seems that at least two times a day or so the bottle starts leaking from the rim when Jack is eating or when I take the bottle out of his mouth.

I've heard that about the Avent bottles - if you do a search I believe there was a thread about this awhile ago and there were some suggestions on how to stop the leaking.

I started wih Advent bottles and HATED them-they always leaked and gave my daughter the worst gas-all my friends had the same problems with these bottles. Now that I switched it's so much better!

I use them--- and they did leak till my friend told me this trick lol
now they dont leak

when you warm them, loosen the white rim a little so less air gets in then tighten and relossen a little when you feed them
I dont have leaking anymore
dont leave it too tight

What brand did you switch to?

I switched to the Playtex Ventaire bottles.

Yep I found that I was tightening the tops too tight and thats when they were leaking. I stopped making extra tight and no leaks any more.

I threw one of them out because I thought it was cracked somewhere because it was leaking. Now I notice that they all leak once in a while. Wish I would have seen this before.
