Programs????

Is anyone not doing them? I am debating on whether or not I should do them?

I come from a traditional Filipino family so I have no choice but to do them. I just started and they are a pain. I bought the covers but made the programs my self 22 pages total

The programs were one of those things that I said to myself if I have time I will do it if not no one will miss them. I'm getting married on Saturday 9/20 and I just finished them today, that was basically the last thing on my list except for the marriage license on Tuesday.

Pinky, please excuse my ignorance, but you did mean 22 copies of your program, right? - not 22 pages in each program.

I am planning on doing them...but my wedding isnt until 8/7/04..so i have time.

I'm doing them only b/c my family and most of my guests are Catholic and Fh's is Greek Orthodox, so I want my guests to have an explanation of the ceremony. I wouldn't have done them if it wasn't for that.

LImon Yep 22 pages but the pages are prited double sided 1 pages is cut in half to make a small booklet it explains the whole ceremony filipino traditions and the mass is written out in it entierty. I have to make 100 copies

Wow, am I impressed. I sincerely hope you have a lot of help with this. if not, you can call on me to give you a hand!!!!

Like Marcella, my daughter wants to explain all the symbolism and details of the wedding for those who are not our religion. We are Greek Orthodox and her FH is not. I expect her program to be 4 pages.

I made my own. They were a pain in the butt...but I was so glad I did them. They came out great...I got so many compliments and I'll have a keepsake of our mass forever. I think if you decide to do them that you'll find in the end, it was worth it to put the time and effort into it. Good luck with whatever you decide!!!

we are doing them. We are catholic and having a full mass, but my dad's family is Jewish so the programs will be really helpful for them to follow along.

I am including the bridal party's info (who each person is to us and in the party), a pic of that bridal party person, the mass, what each things mean, the songs that will be played, a poem, how FI and I met, how he proposed, and a tribute page to those who are no longer with us.

I kept my BM program when she got married and loved it so I am using hers as a guide. She has offered to help me make them
