Programs-yes or no?

Programs-yes or no?

I am trying to decide whether to order programs or not. What do you all think? Is everyone doing programs?

I did my programs on the computer, they came out great and I'm sure people were excited to get one. I had just a ceremony as well.

I made my own for my ceremony. I got a template from a friend (very simple), it took me one night to do them.

I agree. I am making very simple programs --jsut so all my guests know who everyone is.--AndI don't have to hear people whispering 'Who's that....is that her sister?' It's up to you though. It's your wedding.

thats part of the reason I did them too - I had 18 people in the wedding party!

we did them - and we just had a ceremony.
we did them ourselves and kept them simple

I ordered personalized program covers and will make the inserts myself. I copied the layout template from a website - there are loads of different ones.

I am making my own programs. I have a template and I am doing them myself.

I'm most likely not doing them, since we are having a small ceremony and the minister will do our readings. If you have a large wedding party, or you have guests doing readings, it's probably a good idea, but for us, it seemed a bit much.

Personally, I think programs are pretty important. I always miss it when I go to a wedding and there aren't programs. Mostly, I like it so I can figure out who everyone in the BP is in relation to the bride and groom.
