Amazing how many of us feel the same way. One more interesting story... I was engaged shortly after my cousin booked proline. She seemed to like Ed, her salesman. I called and I believe spoke to an owner, not sure, but Ed wasn't in. I received a quote over the phone and being my cousin raved about Ed, I made an appointment to meet with him.

Just two days later I met with Ed (nice guy) and he quoted me a price 300.00 less than what I was told on the phone. Innocent mistake? Didn't know, didn't care, it was in my favor. Then I asked my cousin what she paid, it was 500.00 less than the phone quote and 200.00 less than the price I was quoted in my sale. Another innocent mistake? Who knows, but it didn't make me feel comfortable. All the other places I went, had a price and pretty much stuck to it, maybe threw in some stuff, but kept to their pricing. Felt really shady.

I guess if you feel confident with them and want to book them...NEGOTIATE!!! They will lower their prices!

I agree with MKEA98--
proline is a reputable photography studio. They're upfront and honest, and i highly doubt that they're shady with their price packages. Sucky photographers and customer service is another thing. I'm sure brides have valid reasons for complaining bout the photographers or the service they received from the employees, but I don't know much about them being sneaky with the prices.
Their price quote is like going to Macys-- you can purchase a dress for $300.00, but then the following week will be a holiday sale and you can get the same dress for 30% off with an additional 10%--no 2 customers should be compared to one another since your needs are different and so at the time of the year.
My only concern with Proline which i stated before, was that their poses and style/quality of work is a little too generic and 'traditional' for my taste you know.. the typical 'look at the camera and smile' or 'look into your husband's eyes and smile' etc..)...i hope my photographer at Proline is able to take some different and unique photos. :-/
