How long did it take you to get your proofs? What about your video? My contract says 6 weeks. It's getting close. I'm not sure when to say, Hey? Where are my proofs? I wanted then by Thanksgiving so everyone can decide together what would be best for the different albums. Any advice would be welcomed.

I remember hearing 4-6 weeks but so far we are at 9.....
video trailer he is up to 9/7 so any day now.... i think it was supposed to be 3 months, we are closer to 2

Every photographer is different.
I would call and say something along the lines of 'I just wanted to follow-up and see when my proofs would be ready. My family is going to be together for Thanksgiving and I know they would love to see the pictures.'
It is so overwhelming narrowing down photos for an album. Don't worry about what everyone wants now, just show them the pictures.

8 weeks. Still nothing. Called yesterday. Was told the proofs were sent out to be printed. They'll definitely be ready next week, wednesday or thursday. You know, on a holiday.... :/

I was told by Dec 6th. Ole well So I guess my TY card won't go out until January. I wanted to do our first holiday cards with a wedding pic. But we shall see
